Cheap Wine?

What is a good cheap bottle (under $20 US) of wine that I can get without giving up too much quality?

I like Ballantine Asti Russo. It is a lot like Asti Spumante in that it is light and slightly bubbly, but it is a dark red with a fruitier taste. I get it at Winn Dixie supermarkets (not the liquor store, only the food side) for under $10 a bottle. Usually Poilley Fuise (spelling?) is a good moderately sweet white wine, even in a poor vintage; I’d go the ‘just under $20′ varieties on this one. That wine that comes in the bottle that looks like a fish is decent too, and goes perfectly with … fish! Harvey’s Bristol Cream (a sherry) is technically a wine, and an interesting change, but you have to grow a taste for it.

For good info on wines, I listen to “Uncorked Radio” each week at www.wxel.org radio. The show is aimed to those of us who seldom spend over $20-30 a bottle.
