Are these too cheap for wedding favours?

We are having 140 guests at our wedding. We are on a tight budget. The most affordable favours I have come across, is to buy those cute little organza bags and fill then with individually wrapped heart chocolates and tie with a ribbon saying Thank You.

We cannot afford fancy favours like wine stoppers and such – is this too cheap for favours?

As I said we are on a very tight budget due to our guest list, please no comments about cutting back on the guest list (we both have HUGE families and a lot of close friends) and we have already cut back expenses on everything else that we can.

I’d much rather have a few little chocolates than a stupid cd or some personalized thing (like a glass) with the wedding date on it I mean really, who really wants that crap?
I’d much rather something I can eat and enjoy. Most other stuff ends up being left behind or thrown away. Dust collectors are tacky
