When do Ice-Wine expire?

I went to the wine shop and I got a very good price range for the Inniskillin ice wine, but they are bottled in 2006 and I wasn’t quite excited about it but the person who works there told me that Ice-Wines lifespan usually last 10 yrs?

I love Ice Wine the fact that my parents use to get a lot of expensive ice-wine gifts from their friends and I grew up loving some particular bottle but those things I really love are about $100+ but the price I got for the 2006 bottles are from 40,30, and the 20 is for 2 bottles and they all look really authentic and good the bottles are always sexy.
for 2 sexy skinny bottles, and I guess the more it gets cheaper the more the wine taste blunt?
but the $20 for 2 – I observed the liquid and it’s thick, because Ice-wines aren’t like regular wines, the regular wines e,g: red wines they are like water

Ice wines are thick and syrupy because they have a ton of sugar in them.

Ice wines generally do not age very well after 5-10 years. It depends on the blend, of course – most are a blend of varietals now. And not all regular wines age well either. So i suppose ice wines probably do not hold up taste-wise due to the sugar content.

Yes – Ice wines are usually more expensive. They take longer to harvest the grapes – and they are left on the vine months longer than other wines – so they require more labor…so they cost more.

But you don’t drink as much of dessert wines like you do regular wines – so cost wise it evens out.
