How does one ‘teach the end’ when they are smoking a cigar?

I’m a novice cigar smoker. I’ve noticed on some websites when talking about cigars that one can ‘teach the end.’ What does that mean? Also, cigars seem to have flavours like wine (woody, nutty, chocolate). Is there a way to taste the flavours, and if so, how do I do it? Am I supposed to twirl the smoke around my mouth like wine to taste the different nuances? Thanks for amy information.

I don’t know anyting about ‘teach the end.” Never heard of it. But to detect the different flavors of a good smoke, hold the smoke in your mouth for a couple of seconds before blowing it out. Then take a regular breath in and exhale through your nose. That’s how I do it. Once you know what to look for, you can taste cocoa, toast, leather, etc… in the different smokes.
Good luck and enjoy.
