When should I dye my hair again and is it okay to dye it this color?

I dyed my hair a really dark purple, rich wine, as seen on http://www.softsheen-carson.com/?c=37&category=18 and i want to dye it soft amber (same website but look for the words ‘soft amber’). I dyed it about 2 and a half weeks ago and i was wondering if that’s enough time to go ahead and dye it and if i use the soft amber would it come out okay.
Okay, nevermind about the date, just let me know if the colors would get messed up. Please and thank you.
