Small Wine Racks

Any ideas on what to do with a wine rack in the bathroom?

I recently purchased a beautiful smaller wine rack. I couldn’t pass it up but it does not match my kitchen nor do I need the extra wine storage. So I thought I would use it in my bathroom (the colors and style match perfectly). I tried bath towels in the slots but they were to short and thin. I tried hand towels but they were to long and floppy. What design ideas could you provide? Or other folding techniques other than a “message in a bottle” type of roll up for the towels? Thanks!

You could buy some decorative glass bottles from the local craft supply store (like a Michael’s), and fill them with different colored bath salts, and either actually use the salt or just fill them for decoration. If only for decoration, you can use sand too. Perhaps bath oils as well…

You could also try a stiffer towel for decorative purposes only, and roll them into “logs” and place them in the holes or rings. In various colors, this may be quite interesting. It’s kinda like having decorative pillows on a bed, but you don’t use them for sleeping.

Bunches of dried herbs/flowers/feathers/reeds could be tied with ribbon, and placed into a few of the holes/rings and they can help make the room smell good.

Same idea as above, but with “silk” floral arrangements

Hope some of these ideas help. =]
