How sweet is Riesling wine?

At the restaurant where I work, the Chateau Ste Michelle Reisling wine is the sweetest we serve (and the only Reisling). I’ve never tried it, but I love fruity White Zinfandels and Chardonnays and other sweet wines like that. I’d really like to try it. Just how sweet is Reisling? Is it any good? And is the Chateau Ste Michelle the best brand to try? What do y’all think?
I drink Arbor Mist Peach Chardonnay, which tastes sweet to me. That’s why I mention Chardonnay there. It’s probably just the fruit flavor in it.

Most people conceptualize of Riesling as sweet, since most are but there are dry ones as well. Thus, Rieslings can run the gamut from dry to very sweet. I’m not familair with Chateau Ste Michelle.

The best Rieslings come from Germany and depending on the quality can be $20 a bottle up to $1,000 a bottle.
