what wedding favors should i give to the kids?

Hi all. I’m getting married in August and my theme is wish upon a star. I have found star bottle stoppers, but I can’t give a bottle stopper to a kid. I mean, they can’t drink! So what do I give the kids? And I don’t know how to determine who’s what age. I mean if someone is under 21, they don’t need a wine bottle stopper. But I can’t go around asking everyone’s age and ID. And I don’t want anyone to get offended if one gets a bottle stopper and one gets candy. I thought the small kids will be obvious and they can get candy, but what about the one’s that are older, but still young? And how useful do you think a bottle stoppers is? Thanks a bunch!

I like the idea of the matching bottle openers – lots of things need bottle openers, not just alcoholic beverages. Most favors in the end are not entirely useful, they are more of a memento of the wedding. Something you find later on and reflect on the wedding you received it at. Don’t stress over this one, just ride it out. And who’s to say someone (if they’re underage) can’t hold it until they are of age…. Relax, enjoy your preparations.
