wine argon gas
An argon canister for the system has a volume of 51.2 mL and contains 18.5 g of argon.?

Assuming ideal gas behavior, what is the pressure in the canister at 305 K?
I got the correct answer of 226 atm… what I can’t figure out is this.

When the argon is released from the canister it expands to fill the wine bottle. How many 750.0 mL wine bottles can be purged with the argon in the canister at a pressure of 1.50 atm and a temperature of 305 K?

moles Ar = 18.5 g / 39.948 g/mol=0.463

p = 0.463 x 0.08206 x 305 / 0.0512 L=226 atm
