Would you dump a guy for being a lousy tipper?

I went out with this guy I’ve known for about a month and I really liked him. VERY attractive, seems very nice, and we’ve been talking and having side communications during work for a while. So he asks me out last Thursday and picks me up and he looks really sharp. He complimented me and things went really well. He took me to a nice restaurant that I know wasn’t cheap, but I also know what he does and that he makes a very good living. Over 6 figures and he’s barely 30.

So we have a very nice meal, a bottle of wine, and the evening is going well. The check comes, I offer to pay but he picks it up and pays with a card. It comes back and he writes in the tip, but as he puts the check back in the holder I noticed the tip and it was like 5% of the bill. It was really low.

He took me home and that was that. He called me today but I didn’t answer. I can’t get over how cheap the tip was. Should I dump this guy? Give him a second chance? Am I being a b? What should I do??

First off those “classic” and “deena” chicks are f*cking b*tches. What a couple of snotty-asss rags.

Second, if it’s that much of a turn off, dump the guy. There are always other guys out there, and if it’s a warning sign to you, then listen to your better instinct.

Third, probably a bunch of the responders are morons from other countries who have no idea what the US is like. It’s not acceptable to stiff on a tip.

Ignore the morons and follow your instincts.
