Do you think asking for a doggy bag lacks class?

My husbands Father always asks to take whatever hasnt been eaten home…also half a bottle of wine or less! I think this is seriously unclassy….I just wouldn’t want cold dried up food…it’s smacks of “Well I’ve paid for it!” which kind of takes the shine of the relative luxury of going out to a restaurant….do you agree…?
Oh Angela…that wasn’t me..it was YAHOO…sometimes that just happens…maybe you’re new here.

I think it is perfectly fine. I ALWAYS take a box home after dining out. Often, the portions are so large that I only eat half of it in the restaurant. I will eat the rest as a “midnight snack” when I get home or as a meal the next day. I think it is stupid to throw food out that you payed for and that is perfectly good.

Also, you should stop caring so much what other people think. Do you live your life based on what others think of you? If it was cool to jump off a bridge would you do it? I live for myself so I don’t care one bit if someone thought it was “unclassy.”

I think that people that judge others for taking boxes home are RUDE and judgmental themselves. Do you realize what a snooty woman with her nose in the air you look like when you critisize your husband’s father?
