For how long will history keep repeating itself?

it seems ppl never learn, even if all their mistakes are written out clearly for them time and again! everytime we think things have changed permanently, it turns to be new wine in an old bottle, or old wine in a new bottle. never new wine in a new bottle. either the masses are permanently jaded and stupid, or the elites are constantly scheming and planning steps ahead of everyone else. the role of education has largely been blunted, and formal education has never led to real changes in the world.

History will keep repeating itself until we learn not to make the same mistakes as past generations, sometimes people just never learn.
