wine for linux
Can I run WINE for linux on a usb flash drive?

Your question is very unclear. What exactly are you trying to achieve?

Linux can be installed and run from a USB flash drive. It gives you the security that you are not changing your original Windows configuration on your computer, and you can always wipe out the flash drive.

WINE aims to run Windows applications under Linux. You can install WINE and see if it’s good for you, but if your Linux is installed on the hard disk then WINE should be installed on it too and not on a flash drive.

Note that WINE is still under very active development and many things still don’t work. If you can’t live without your Windows applications I recommend you stay with Windows until you figure out how to do things the Linux way (there are thousands of wonderful applications for Linux and certainly one of them will suit you).
