wine gifts delivered
Christmas gift for my boyfriend’s parents?

My boyfriend’s parents live a few states away, and I just met them for the first time a couple months ago when I visited with him. They invited me back to their home for Christmas, but I am spending Christmas with my family in my own hometown, so I won’t be able to. We got along great, though, and even though I don’t know them that well, I want to either send a gift to them through him or have something delivered. I don’t really know what to send because I want it to be something for both his mom and dad. I want to do something more than just a bottle of wine, but I don’t want to send anything “homey” like candles or decorations because that will be something more for his mother. The only thing I can think of is getting an Edible Arrangement sent to them on Christmas, but that isn’t really something that will last beyond just while they’re eating it. Does anyone have any good ideas of something that both his parents might enjoy?

I would not send an edible arrangement at Christmas – many families are fortunate enough to have far more food than needed during the holidays.

Flowers always look and smell nice during the holidays especially if one is entertaining.

An artful one-of-a-kind tree ornament might be a nice gesture.

Non-perishable food items could be nice – some fancy tea, jam, smoked fish….whatever they like or is the specialty in your neck of the woods.
