Does anyone know how to get wine labels off the bottle so they do not ripe? Trying to make wine label coaster?

I’ve had to do this with soda bottles many times. I didn’t want there to be little bits of the label still on the bottle.

What worked really well for me was taking a hairdryer and keeping it about 3 inches away from the bottle and moving it back and fourth over the part of the label that had the sticky back. It was a lot easier to peel off and no pieces were left behind.
