personalized wine labels and candy bar labels?

what size labels and what type labels are the best if i want to make personalized wine labels? i only need to make one soft copy so the print company can make a bunch for me. i have MS WORD but is there other programs as well? the label option in word does not offer “wine labels” and i don’t know what size label it would be to match it with one of the other sizes offered. any ideas would be great.
also would like to do personalized mini candy bars. what label would i use for that?

If you want to stick with MS Word you could try creating a text box approximately 3 inches x 4 inches and producing your label inside the box. Check with your printer if that would be okay.

If you have the Avery labels option within MS Word then Label L7166 would probably be a suitable size to create a wine bottle label – otherwise there are a lot of label templates available at the Microsoft website.

You may achieve a better label result using a publishing program like MS Publisher. I think you can download a free trial.
