Does wine advertising influence your choice in any way?
And if so, why does it influence it in this way?
For example, if you see a wine advertised on tv or in a popular magazine (not a specialist or trade magazine) does it encourage you to look out for that wine, or does it actually make you think it’s a bit uninspiring, dulled to suit the palettes of everyone?

If I see a wine advertised, I assume it is mass produced and not a fine wine. I would never buy it on advertising alone, it would have to come with a recommendation from someone whose taste I know and agree with.
