wine pinot grigio
Looking for a certain wine, as a gift for a friend- Pinot grigot?

She wrote the wine brand down, as pinot grigot.
When i went to the local wine market, they only had pinot grigio. Is there a difference, or is this an alternative spellling?
This is the wine i was thinking of purchasing. Alta Italia vigneti. http://www.tesco.com/winestore/controller.aspx?Bc=0&Btt=pinot&R=12503275&Btk=Descriptors

is it Any good?

Pinot grigio is the wine. Its made from the pinot gris grape and is most famous from the north of Italy though other countries make a pinot grigio such as US. Australia and Chile.
The one you have chosen is very expensive in my poor person opinion – if I had money like that to spend on wine personally I would be buying a louis latour chablis.
You can get a good pinot grigio for far less money. This wine isnt considered a ‘good’ wine – just an easy drinking wine and I’ve put below a review of it. In the review he mentions some labels for this wine that he found the best – maybe you could take those names down and march into the wine shop and see what price they are?
Hope that helps
EDIT:
I just realised that the price in your link is for a CASE! £6 is perfect for this wine…I thought it was like £40 for a bottle!
