is drinking 2 cups of wine a day bad?

i dont mean wine glasses i meant actual normal sized plastic drinking cup so if you drink 2 of those a day at the same time have any effect

‘Insolent redhead’ has given some good advice, I work in an alcohol rehab centre so I know it to be so.

But just to give you the medical/technical facts, a plastic drinking cup holds 200ml ( I just measured mine so you will take that as a guide).

The safety guidelines for alcohol consumption are measured in ‘units’ of alcohol.

If you take an average strength wine of 12.5%ABV then 200ml of it contains 2.5 units of alcohol, so two cups obviously contains five.

The recommended safety guidelines are 21 units per week for men and no more than four of those units in any one day, for women its 14 units a week and no more than three units in any one day.

Those are the facts, I leave you to judge for yourself.
