Nintendo DSI XL or 3DS?

I’m going to buy a DS of some kind but not 100% on which to buy, i’m considering the DSI XL in Yellow as thats £120 at Zavvi but i think that may be a bit of a weird colour to have if i’m picturing it right but i sort of like the look of it from the picture, then there is the 3DS i would like to get but the screen is much smaller than the DSI XL and the battery is apparently poor, so what is your opinion? Colour would be most helpful, Zavvi are also offering Green for £120, and i know off a shop doing a Mario Olympics with 1GB SD card, Wine Red and Dark Brown for £99 what is the best option

simply looking at the 3DS gives me a headache. But i always get them. The 3DS is for if you like 3D effects (i can’t see why) and the DSi XL is for if you actually want to play the god damn games; it has a bigger screen, its cheaper and the stylus is easier to use. also the 3DS has to be used in moderation to avoid headaches and dizziness. so its really up to you i have had a DSi XL for quite long now and i can honestly say that is superior to the 3DS in almost every way.
