What makeup should I use if I want a “natural” look for prom?

My prom is on saturday! I have a….well, I don’t really know what my face shape is, but I have large cheeks. I also have black hair, not-thick-but-not-thin eyebrows, and brown eyes. I don’t know if this matters also, but my dress is wine red.

I want to have some makeup for prom that’s different from what I wear every day (black mascara and concealer for undereye circles, and occasionally lip gloss). As you can tell, I already don’t use much makeup. I detest the overdone look. Can you help me with what makeup I should use for prom? I am willing to try foundation, eyeliner, and maybe eyeshadow.

If having a picture really matters, then tell me and I’ll put one up. Thank you!!

I love to use bareminerals when going for a more natural look. It is kind of pricey, but soo worth it! Trust me, once you use it you probably wont ever wanna go back to using the regular (pore-cloggling) drug store makeup.
