Know where I can find Merlot-Spatburgunder?

Im not a big wine drinker but this wine was so good! It was given to me as a gift 3 years ago & haven’t been able to find it since. It is a Romanian wine in a green bottle, the name is “Merlot-Spatburgunder” 750 ML. The one I had was a 2001 wine. So now Im looking for a 2003 bottle.

I’ve tried all the online wine websites, all the wine stores in my city & still nothing! I found a warehouse in my city but only sells them by the box (500 per box) & they weren’t helpful in telling me to whom they sell the wine to.

Any info is helpful. Thanks!

(FYI: it was a gift exchange at my old job…I have no clue where the person that gave it to me is)

Spatburgunder (the German name for Pinot Noir) and Merlot are grape varieties, not a brand or an appellation. Seems like you really liked what appears to be an ordinary mass produced wine (as most Romanian wines are). I haven’t the faintest idea what you mean by finding a warehouse that sells them by the box of 500 – do you mean a wholesaler (if so it is awlfully strange that you would not be told a retailer where you might buy it – call again and demand to speak to a manger or executive).
