Do ya know where I can get cheap wine yeast?

I’ve been making my own wine with bread yeast, I don’t really care about the taste and it’s not that bad really, but I want to make some wine with more alcohol in it.

Do you know any cheap online vendors?

I found a place that will sell 3 packs for $6.10 dollars is that a good price?….. it’s the damn shipping and handling.

looked all over the net, prices for yeast is pretty cheap, about $1 a packet usually… but then you have $6-8 shipping.

your best bet is locally. you didn’t mention where you are, or i could be more specific, but i have 3 places locally to me in a small city that sell yeast for about $1 a pack

if you are really singey you can reuse your yeast too, look up “yeast washing”
